Description
Creamy no-bake butterscotch mud bars layered with Oreo crust, rich brownie, and fluffy pudding mousse. A perfect make-ahead treat.
Ingredients
2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 box brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, water per package)
1 (3.4 oz) box instant butterscotch pudding
2 cups cold whole milk
2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade)
Instructions
1. Mix crushed Oreos and melted butter. Press into lined 9×13” pan. Chill while prepping brownie.
2. Prepare brownie mix as directed. Pour over crust. Bake, then cool completely.
3. Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick. Fold in whipped topping to create mousse.
4. Spread mousse over cooled brownie layer evenly using a spatula.
5. Chill assembled bars for at least 2 hours, or overnight, until set.
6. Slice and serve chilled. Garnish with whipped cream or caramel if desired.
Notes
Use homemade brownie for richer flavor or boxed mix for speed.
Bars stay fresh up to 4 days in the fridge, tightly covered.
You can swap pudding flavor (vanilla, banana, chocolate).
