36 Oreo cookies (regular, not Double Stuf) 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 cup powdered sugar 16 ounces whipped topping, divided 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

1. Crush Oreo cookies (cream included) into fine crumbs. 2. Mix crumbs with melted butter until well combined. 3. Press mixture firmly into a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Chill 15 minutes. 4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix well. 5. Fold in 8 ounces of whipped topping until light and creamy. 6. Spread cream cheese mixture over the chilled Oreo crust evenly. 7. Top with cherry pie filling and spread evenly. 8. Add remaining whipped topping and smooth over the top. 9. Garnish with reserved Oreo crumbs or fresh cherries. 10. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
